Welcome! I’m McKenna... the hands and soul behind Wishbone Studio.
I started Wishbone Studio in January of 2025, taking a huge leap and chasing my dream. I quit my day job and poured everything I had into this little business. Wishbone is a one-woman show... it’s just me here, creating each piece and handling everything in between that it takes to bring this brand to life. I’m endlessly grateful that I’ve been able to make this my full-time work and for the beautiful, kind, loyal customers who make that possible.
I discovered metalsmithing when I was about eighteen years old. It was one of those rare moments in life where something clicks deep within you... I could feel it immediately. I had just discovered something that would change me forever. When I say I fell in love with the art, that’s an understatement... I genuinely fell for it. From that day on, I knew it was something I could never live without.
And just when I thought that feeling couldn’t grow deeper, it did... when I started seeing people wearing the pieces I had poured my heart into. There’s something sacred about knowing that my art becomes part of someone else’s story. Each piece is made with the intention that it will live on... that it will be cherished, worn often, and eventually passed down.
Most of the jewelry you see me wearing in photos... my daily pieces... are the same ones I’ve worn for almost seven years. They’ve become timeless parts of my own story. I hope the same for you... that your pieces become something you reach for every day, something that feels like you.
